Job summary

ONI in San Diego seeks a Field Application Scientist to provide pre-, peri-, and post-sales technical support for our Nanoimager platform, demonstrating value across multiple application spaces during in-person customer visits.

You will train users, field inquiries, and coordinate with the Sales team to advance opportunities, while analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and sharing feedback with Product and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in fluorescence microscopy and data analysis.
• Experience designing sample prep for FISH, immunohistochemistry, or fluorescence imaging.
• Ability to present complex science clearly to technical audiences.
• Understanding of capital equipment sales in life sciences is a plus.
• Proven skill in planning and executing customer-focused experiments.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, peri-, and post-sales technical support at customer sites.
• Demonstrate ONI technology via live in-person demos across applications.
• Train customers remotely and on-site; coordinate with sales on opportunities.
• Design and run customer experiments to showcase capabilities.
• Maintain Salesforce records and report customer feedback to teams.
