Job summary

QP Group is seeking a Field Application Specialist for a fast-growing software company serving life sciences labs. You will partner with sales to run technical discovery calls, craft demos based on each customer’s instruments and data, and define implementation scope after deals close.

On onboarding, you will train scientists, lab managers, and quality staff to use the platform in their daily work, handling live demos with confidence and adapting when plans shift.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing scientific/technical role.
• Strong hands-on chromatography and mass spectrometry experience (HPLC/UPLC/GC-MS/LC-MS).
• Familiarity with chromatography data systems such as Chromeleon or Empower is a plus.
• Comfort working in regulated lab environments (GMP/GLP exposure a plus).

Responsibilities

• Run technical discovery sessions with prospective customers, mapping lab workflows.
• Build and deliver demonstrations tailored to customer instruments and data.
• Turn discovery findings into an implementation plan with delivery and success teams.
• Train customer teams on using the platform in day-to-day work and support early months live.
