Job summary

Repligen Corporation is seeking a Field Application Scientist, Downstream Filtration, to lead technical adoption of our downstream filtration portfolio. You will partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing and R&D to solve bioprocessing challenges, deliver technical guidance, and support customer success across development and manufacturing stages.

You will serve as the technical expert, helping customers optimize processes, transfer technology, and drive growth while traveling up to 75%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in downstream bioprocessing, process development, manufacturing, technical support, field applications, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• Strong knowledge of tangential flow filtration (TFF) and downstream process development.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for customers and influence decisions.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 75%, with occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to drive adoption and growth of downstream filtration portfolio through technical presentations, customer evaluations, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and Voice of Customer activities.
• Serve as the technical expert for downstream filtration applications, helping customers optimize processes and solve bioprocessing challenges.
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and Marketing to develop application data, technical reports, training materials, and customer-facing content.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to accelerate opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.
• Maintain expertise in downstream bioprocessing technologies and industry trends to inform future products and strategy.
