Job summary

Repligen seeks a Field Application Scientist focused on downstream filtration to lead technical engagements with customers and collaborate across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and R&D. You will translate complex bioprocessing challenges into actionable solutions, support technology adoption, and drive portfolio growth.

The role requires deep expertise in downstream processing and TFF, strong communication, and the ability to work across functions to accelerate opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology or related discipline.
• 5+ years in downstream bioprocessing or related customer-facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of tangential flow filtration (TFF) and downstream process development.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience in technical sales or applications support is a plus.
• Able to travel domestically up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical leader for downstream filtration applications and advise customers.
• Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing to drive adoption and growth.
• Develop technical content, reports, and training materials for portfolio launches.
• Support customer success by solving complex bioprocessing challenges.
