Nanotemper is seeking a Field Application Scientist to bridge cutting-edge biophysical technology with customer success across the Mid-Atlantic region. The role blends hands-on lab excellence with clear scientific communication, enabling researchers to adopt our solutions to accelerate workflows.

You will travel to customer sites, run live demonstrations, support pre-sales discussions, train users, and collaborate with Product Management and R&D to translate findings into customer-facing content.

Formación

• PhD or MSc in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Biophysics/Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
• 2+ years of hands-on lab experience with protein characterization, drug discovery, or biophysical techniques
• Strong understanding of biophysical methods (binding affinity, protein stability, thermal shift)
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation and troubleshooting
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to explain complex science to diverse audiences
• Willingness to travel regularly (50-70%) for customer visits, demos, and conferences
• Work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsabilidades

• Lead in-field and in-house customer demonstrations of NanoTemper solutions
• Support pre-sales technical discussions (remote and in-person) by aligning technologies to research workflows
• Prepare, present, and discuss demo/evaluation reports with customers and internal stakeholders
• Manage demo unit booking and logistics for timely access
• Perform instrument installation and on-site technical support
• Deliver application-focused and in-field user training
• Support webinars, workshops, conferences and create customer-facing content
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to translate findings into impactful material
• Gather market trends, competitive insights, and customer feedback for internal use
• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D on product feedback and workflow improvements
