MaxWell Biosystems AG in San Diego seeks an experienced Field Application Scientist to serve as a scientific expert for our electrophysiology platforms. You will present products, perform live demos with customer samples, and support sales by showcasing technical solutions.

You will be based in San Diego with a focus on the North American market. The role requires a strong neuroscience/biotech background, hands-on MEA experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualificações

• MS/PhD in neuroscience/biotechnology/physiology is required.
• Experience with microelectrode arrays and analysis of datasets is essential.
• Knowledge in iPSCs / organoids / neuroengineering is a plus.
• 1-2 years in sales in life sciences or scientific instrumentation is a plus.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; able to interact with scientists.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and approach potential customers; perform presentations and demos.
• Identify, advance, and close business opportunities.
• Represent MaxWell Biosystems at conferences and trade shows.
• Manage sales contracts and customer contacts.
• Handle demos, installations and trainings onsite and remotely.
• Keep CRM up-to-date with customer information and interactions.
• Travel for sales and support; provide technical and applications assistance in the field.
