Job summary

Jacobs Management Group, Inc. is seeking a Field Application Scientist to demo analytical instruments, support customers, and demonstrate scientific results. The role is East US based, covering the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, with travel required.

You will deliver pre-sales presentations, install and QC instruments, train customers and distributors, and provide frontline technical support while keeping CRM up to date.

Qualifications

• MS in biochemistry or biophysical sciences; PhD preferred.
• Experience with biophysical techniques listed above.
• Knowledge of protein stability and formulation screening.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Give pre-sales technical presentations and seminars to customers.
• Install and QC instruments, and train customers and distributors.
• Provide frontline technical support and post-sales account help.
• Keep the CRM current and help maintain the lab.
