Job summary

Distran Corp. in the USA is seeking a Field Application Engineer to ensure an outstanding customer experience throughout the after-sales journey.

You will deliver customer training and technical support, collaborating with Sales and Development to improve products based on field feedback. The role requires strong technical writing, experience delivering trainings to groups up to 50 participants, and willingness to travel about 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Chemistry or related.
• Previous experience in technical customer support and/or client training.
• Good technical writing skills are mandatory.
• Proven experience in training delivery to different audience sizes, in person and virtually.
• Experience in training design and development – concept and materials.
• EPA regulations knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Driving license.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct product trainings for customers, either at customers’ sites in the US, or remotely.
• Conduct internal product and application trainings for the sales team and distributors.
• Ensure high quality technical support to customers.
• Provide technical assistance during the customers’ qualification stage and demonstrations.
• Synthesize and share operational market intelligence from customer sites.
• Support regulatory and compliance activities with technical information and documentation.
• Support product development by testing new products and providing feedback.
