Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical expertise for cabinet efficiency products across Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and Iowa. You will support sales teams, deliver demonstrations, and drive market penetration through consultative customer engagement.

The role requires traveling within the territory, collaborating with regional teams, and delivering technical presentations to customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Must have a four-year college degree or equivalent.
• Technical discipline preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Ability to work independently from home office with limited supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual sales revenue across cabinet efficiency portfolio.
• Collaborate with local Phoenix Contact sales team on joint activities and campaigns.
• Serve as local technical representative for cabinet efficiency products.
• Develop sales tools, collateral and campaigns as regional marketing specialist.
• Maintain CRM with accurate client information and provide required reports.
