Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on expertise to support cabinet efficiency products across industrial automation and electronics applications. The role covers NE, MO, KS and IA, requiring travel and close collaboration with regional sales teams to expand market penetration.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Ability to work independently from home office with limited supervision.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual sales revenue across cabinet efficiency products.
• Coordinate with local Phoenix Contact sales team on trainings and mutual action plans.
• Act as the local technical representative for cabinet efficiency products.
• Develop and drive campaigns and sales tools.
• Maintain CRM with accurate client information and reporting.
• Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of cabinet efficiency products.
• Travel within territory as required.
