Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer in the St. Louis area to support cabinet efficiency solutions across Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.

You will work with regional teams to drive sales, provide hands-on technical support, and deliver demonstrations of Phoenix Contact products. The role requires independent work, travel up to 50%+, and strong communication skills to build customer relationships and market penetration.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum sales or marketing experience with automation and industrial control products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present to customers.
• Ability to work independently from a home office and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Increase annual sales revenue for cabinet efficiency products across assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with local sales team using joint activities and plans.
• Serve as local technical rep for product solutions and address power-related technical questions.
• Develop sales tools and campaigns; provide customer insights to expand product lines.
• Build relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to sustain growth.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver required reports to management.
