Job summary
Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical support and drive cabinet efficiency product sales across the Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona region. You will collaborate with regional sales teams, craft sales tools, and act as the technical liaison for power-related solutions.
The role requires travel within the territory, independent work from a home office, and strong communication skills to expand market penetration and meet sales
Qualifications
- Four-year degree required.
- Technical discipline preferred or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of sales or marketing experience with automation/industrial control products.
- Ability to work independently from home office with limited supervision.
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with quick-learning ability.
Responsibilities
- Increase annual sales revenue across cabinet efficiency portfolio; coordinate with local Phoenix Contact sales team.
- Act as local technical representative for products and support sales on power-related matters.
- Develop regional marketing tools, collateral and campaigns.
- Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of Cabinet Efficiency products and technology.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and provide reports to RSM.
- Build strong customer relationships and maximize productivity.
