Cox Automotive – USA is seeking an Account Operations Specialist II for an on-site role in Maryland. This position focuses on resolving client issues, coordinating vehicle reconditioning, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the auction process.

The role requires 2-3+ years in automotive settings, a high school diploma, and strong verbal/written communication. Day shift, Monday–Friday, with hourly pay and potential incentives. On-site work with Cox benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years' automotive experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in vehicle reconditioning and/or auto body knowledge
• Self-starter with minimal supervision
• Ability to multitask
• Team-based interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Ability to operate vehicles with standard/automatic transmission preferred

Responsibilities

• Resolve client issues for accounts ranging from simple to complex in collaboration with auction teams and stakeholders
• Provide exceptional customer service addressing inquiries related to vehicle condition or discrepancies
• Coordinate sale vehicle run processes and communicate with auction departments for inventory movement and reconditioning
• Build relationships with clients, assess vehicles for standards, prepare reconditioning estimates, and document condition reports
• Demonstrate knowledge of condition report data and vehicle inspection processes to identify repairs
• Educate clients on auction processes and upsell Cox products based on needs
• Prioritize effectively and maintain professional client relations
• Coordinate redemptions with proper documentation while following PI I policies
• Maintain adherence to Cox standards for reconditioning quality and accuracy
• Proficiency with MS Office and internal platforms
• Participate in safety activities and comply with safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
