Job summary

is seeking an Account Manager in Helena, MT to drive growth across a defined geography. You will manage 30–35 current accounts with annual sales of $2–$3.5M, using Grainger’s CRM (Salesforce) daily and reporting to the District Sales Manager of Commercial. The role requires 3+ years of outside sales experience, strong planning and forecasting skills, and a willingness to travel monthly to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct outside sales experience.
• Experience in sales forecasting and customer planning.
• Travel to customer locations within the aligned market at least monthly.
• Ability to apply process discipline to growth and pipeline development.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer goals and respond to changing needs.
• Demonstrate market data knowledge and resource access to respond to developments.
• Oversee managed inventory tasks to deepen customer relationships and increase sales.
• Articulate Grainger's value proposition to grow profitable sales.
• Develop account penetration strategies including regular business reviews.
