Job summary

Spectrum Business is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and deliver Spectrum solutions to small business clients in your assigned territory. You will use consultative selling to match data, voice, video, and mobile services to each client’s needs.

You’ll own the full sales cycle, maintain records in the CRM, collaborate across teams for seamless orders, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with Spectrum’s products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience or 2+ years of telecom or technical industry experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid and active State driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle and car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business sales by engaging small businesses within your assigned sales territory.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to identify and recommend Spectrum Business solutions.
• Achieve sales and product targets across data, phone, video and mobile services throughout the sale cycle.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, presentations and closed deals using required software and tools.
• Collaborate with other business groups to ensure seamless order execution and customer service.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay current with Spectrum’s products and strategies.
• Consistently simplify and enhance the customer experience through proactive communication and support.
