Job summary

Spectrum Business is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business within a defined sales territory, delivering Spectrum's communication solutions to small businesses.

You'll conduct needs analyses, present the right data, phone, video and mobile options, and guide prospects from first contact to close while maintaining accurate activity records and collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing or related field.
• 2+ years of sales experience or 2+ years of telecom/technical industry experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business sales by engaging small businesses within your assigned sales territory
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to identify and recommend Spectrum Business solutions
• Achieve sales and product targets across data, phone, video and mobile services from first contact through final sale
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, presentations and closed deals using required software and tools
• Collaborate with other business groups to ensure seamless order execution and exceptional customer service
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay current with Spectrum's products and strategies
• Consistently simplify and enhance the customer experience through proactive communication and support
