Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Field Account Representative to manage a regional portfolio with hands-on, face-to-face customer engagement.

You will develop territory plans, build strong customer relationships, and promote Grainger’s products and services directly at customer sites to drive growth and profitability. You will spend most time in the field across an assigned geography, expanding contacts, leveraging Grainger’s Value Proposition, and utilizing CRM tools to track progress and close

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales experience.
• Ability to travel and accommodate occasional overnights.
• Respond effectively to customer needs with strong service.
• Influence outcomes through clear communication and relationship-building.
• Plan and prioritize tasks with structured execution.

Responsibilities

• Create a territory plan that assesses customer needs and targets performance.
• Build and execute account plans to grow all customers and contacts.
• Leverage technology and resources to schedule timely, valuable customer meetings.
• Maintain an active pipeline and negotiate to balance customer satisfaction with profitability.
• Utilize CRM to prioritize leads, manage opportunities, and document interactions.
• Expand customer contacts to uncover new business opportunities.
• Communicate via multiple channels to drive sales and provide real-time solutions.
