Job summary

Cytokinetics is seeking a Field Access Manager to advance payer strategies in the Mid South region (Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina). You will work field-based, engaging with providers, HUB vendors, specialty pharmacies, and payer stakeholders to streamline access from prescription to therapy initiation, while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, life sciences, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of pharma field reimbursement, patient access, HUB, or market access roles.
• Strong understanding of payer dynamics and reimbursement pathways.
• Experience with HUB systems, case management platforms, and data feeds.
• Proven ability to resolve complex access and reimbursement cases.
• Knowledge of claims, benefit verification, SP reporting, payer policy tracking.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication with HCPs and internal teams.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced launch or high-growth environments.
• Proficiency with CRM systems; BI tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive identification and resolution of patient access barriers across payer coverage, prior auth, copay, and specialty routing.
• Partner with HCP offices to support benefits verification and payer documentation requirements.
• Analyze HUB, specialty pharmacy, and payer data to identify access gaps and drive improvements.
• Serve as access subject matter expert, sharing compliant education with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate to improve pull-through efficiency and resolve access friction points.
• Monitor access metrics and translate insights into action plans.
• Manage high-priority case escalations requiring cross-functional coordination.
