Job summary

Cytokinetics, Inc. is seeking a Field Access Manager to support the Pacific Coast territory, covering Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.

The role requires travel within the territory to engage with healthcare providers, HUB vendors, specialty pharmacies, and payer stakeholders. This field-based position focuses on identifying and resolving reimbursement and access barriers while ensuring alignment with labeling and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of payer dynamics and reimbursement pathways.
• Experience handling field access and HUB services.
• Ability to translate payer data into actionable field strategies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve patient access barriers across payer coverage, prior authorization, step edits, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing.
• Collaborate with HCP offices on benefits verification and payer documentation requirements.
• Analyze HUB and payer data to identify access gaps and implement compliance-approved process improvements or access education.
• Serve as field access SME, providing approved access education to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Patient Services, and HUB vendors to improve pull-through and address access friction points.
• Support launch readiness and lifecycle management by identifying access barriers early and executing field-based mitigation strategies.
• Monitor key access metrics and translate insights into action plans.
• Manage high-priority case escalations involving complex reimbursement issues.
