Construction Material Testing seeks a trained 3D scanning technician to operate handheld scanners on active construction sites, capture data, and deliver scan-to-CAD files that clients can act on. You will scan rebar mats, embeds, corroded pipes, beams, and machine parts, then process data with Artec Studio and prepare reports, deviation maps, and coordinate data for drawings.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience operating handheld scanners on real projects.
• Familiarity with Artec Studio or comparable software for mesh cleanup and export.
• Comfortable reading structural/fabrication drawings and CAD files.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute handheld 3D scans of rebar, embeds, and concrete features.
• Control drift and verify capture completeness on site.
• Process scans in Artec Studio and export to STL/OBJ/E57 and CAD formats.
• Produce deviation maps, measurement reports, and anchor bolt coordinates.
• Create scan-to-CAD solids (STEP/IGES) for reverse engineering and fit-up checks.
