Construction Material Testing is seeking a 3D scanning technician to operate handheld scanners on construction sites, process data in Artec Studio, and deliver scan-to-CAD files and reports.

You will plan scans, verify data on site, and coordinate with project teams across the Gulf Coast region, traveling to regional hubs as needed. CAD familiarity and a valid license are required, with training and certifications offered by the company.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience operating handheld scanners on real projects with examples.
• Working knowledge of Artec Studio or comparable scan-processing software; ability to clean meshes and register scans.
• Familiarity with CAD and reading structural/fabrication drawings.
• Comfortable on active construction sites and in industrial plants; able to carry equipment and work outdoors.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute handheld 3D scans of sites and structures before pours or for as-built data.
• Control drift on large objects using reference features and tape measures.
• Verify capture completeness on site before leaving.
• Process scans in Artec Studio: registration, fusion, mesh cleanup, texture, and export to STL/OBJ/E57/CAD formats.
