Job summary

Fiber Technologies Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Fiber Splicer to fuse optical fibers and maintain our telecommunications networks. You will perform cable upgrades, splice tasks, test and troubleshoot circuits, and ensure safety standards are met across aerial and underground work.

Role requires splicing experience, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. 18+ and eligible to work in the US are required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months of splicing experience or 1 year in telecom industry required.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam for a valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at heights, from underground to in the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks.
• Document work through daily production reports and map updates.
