Fiber Technologies Solutions, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer to fuse optical fibers and maintain our telecommunications network. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test and troubleshoot post-installation circuits, and ensure workmanship meets stringent industry standards.

Responsibilities include documenting daily work, performing vehicle maintenance checks, and navigating varied work heights in different environments. A strong safety mindset and relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to pass a DOT physical examination and obtain a medical card.
• 6 months of splicing experience or 1 year in telecommunications.

Responsabilités

• Under guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network after installation.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely operate at heights, from underground to aerial environments.
• Perform basic daily maintenance of vehicles and inspect fluids.
• Document work via daily production reports and map updates.
• Other duties as assigned
