Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer II to fuse optical fibers and maintain our telecommunications network. This role involves aerial and underground splicing, network testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of fiber splicing experience required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• DOT physical exam pass required for medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade existing fiber sheaths and mid-sheath fibers as needed.
• Provide guidance to other splicers, as needed.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles and document work in daily reports.
