Job summary

Uniti Group is seeking a Customer Service Technician I to install and repair residential and business services, including internet and voice, across field locations. You will train with specialized tools and test equipment, recommend solutions, and work in both buried and aerial plant environments, often climbing ladders and handling varied cable systems.

The role requires a valid driver's license, color vision, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for day, evening, weekend, and holiday

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic technology and math skills.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Color differentiation for cable work.
• Ability to lift >50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work day/evening/weekend/holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business services (phone, internet, video).
• Train with tools and test equipment and support multiple technologies.
• Recommend products/services to meet customer needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant requiring climbing and ladder use.
• Safely operate company vehicle and maintain it in good order.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations and work both indoors and outdoors.
