Job summary

Uniti seeks a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business services across our network. You will train with tools and test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs, and you will help customers choose products that fit their needs.

You will work both indoors and outdoors, in buried and aerial plant, and you will report to the Manager of Local Operations. The role requires safety training, color discrimination, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Willingness to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
• Ability to pass safety training.
• Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded cabling.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and use tools and test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services to meet customers' communications needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant requiring pole climbing and ladder skills.
• Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle.
• Work indoors and outdoors.
• Complete safety training and follow safety standards and regulations.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
