Job summary

Uniti is seeking skilled Network Technicians to join our field operations team across the United States. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing voice, data, network, transport, and video equipment, with duties spanning inside and outside environments.

You will perform post-install tests, coordinate central office tasks, and conduct OTDR testing while maintaining safety standards and working hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2–3 years of telco experience, or 4+ years in related telephony.
• Ability to read CLR/DLR and engineering packs.
• Ability to perform OTDR tests and interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine installation, maintenance, and repair for voice, data, network, transport, and video equipment.
• Complete post-install tests for call processing functionality and AMA testing.
• Coordinate central office/network equipment, card/SFP insertions, translations, fiber cross-connects and inside wiring.
• Perform OTDR tests and understand results.
• Provide stand-by and on-call coverage.
• Report to Network Infrastructure Local Manager.
