Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Network Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of voice, data, and video network systems across the United States. You will conduct post-install tests, coordinate equipment, and perform OTDR testing to ensure service quality.

The role requires associates or equivalent experience in technical fields, strong safety awareness, and ability to lift, climb, and work in varying environments. A valid license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 4+ years telephony experience required.
• Ability to perform OTDR tests and understand results.
• Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work aloft.
• Color discrimination and safe equipment handling.
• Willingness to work day, evening, weekend and holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine installation, maintenance, and repair of network systems.
• Complete post-install tests for call processing and AMA testing.
• Coordinate central office/network equipment and fiber cross-connects.
• Carry out OTDR tests and interpret results.
• Provide stand-by and on-call coverage.
• Report to the Network Infrastructure Local Manager.
