Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Fiber Network Field Technician to perform installation, repair and maintenance on fiber network facilities from the customer-serving terminal to the customer premise, including hub work. These tasks include installation and maintenance of voice, data, and video equipment at the customer site, with opportunities to offer revenue-enhancing services.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and maintaining fiber network services.
• Ability to read schematic drawings and follow work orders.
• Comfort with testing equipment and basic inside wiring tasks.

Responsibilities

• Installs, removes, rearranges, programs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains fiber network services.
• Installs and configures routers, set top boxes. May assist with PC software installation and provide proper PC configuration.
• Interacts with the Fiber Solution Center as needed and ensures customer satisfaction with work performed.
