Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Fiber Network Field Technician in Morgan Hill, CA to support installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber network facilities from the customer-serving terminal to the premises. Responsibilities include installing and configuring routers, set-top boxes, and inside wiring; interacting with customers and Frontier’s Fiber Solution Center; and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Must meet basic qualifications and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Tests – results must meet minimum requirements established by the Company.
• Experience – management will designate the experience level for each vacancy.

Responsibilities

• Installs, removes, rearranges, programs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains fiber network services.
• Installs and configures routers and set top boxes; may assist with PC software and training the customer.
• Installs, maintains and repairs fiber equipment and inside wiring at the hub; activates the ONT.
• Interacts with customers to place equipment, assist with account stuff, train on new equipment, and follow up on satisfaction.
