Job summary

Frontier Communications Corporation is seeking a Fiber Network Field Technician in Menifee, CA. The role covers installation, repair, and maintenance of fiber network facilities from the customer-serving terminal to the customer premises, including hub activities.

You will install routers, set-top boxes, and inside wiring, while ensuring customer satisfaction. The position requires hands-on field experience, ability to interpret work orders, and interaction with customers to promote service

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid California class C driver’s license.
• Ability to pass the Department of Justice criminal records screening.
• Must be able to lift up to 275 pounds with proper safety measures per company policy.
• Experience in telecommunications or field technician roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, rearrange, test, and maintain fiber network services.
• Install and configure routers and set-top boxes at customer premises.
• Interact with customers to train on new equipment and ensure satisfaction.
• Read and interpret schematic work orders and procure necessary equipment.
• Use test equipment to diagnose equipment faults and perform maintenance.
