Job summary

Insomniac is seeking a Box Office Attendant to deliver high-level customer service for ticketing at the box office and resolution areas. Travel and lodging are not provided for this position. The role requires strong communication, accuracy, and a calm, helpful demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be comfortable with computers, able to manage will call orders, and de-escalate issues as they arise. Prior sales experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service-related work experience is preferred.
• Must feel comfortable with using a computer.
• Interact professionally with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner.
• Must be able to interact with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner and de-escalate situations.
• Employee must complete a background investigation and a drug/alcohol test.
• Employee must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist box office customers and provide ticketing support.
• Identify will call orders by verifying customer details and email/credit card.
• Resolve scanning issues at gate promptly and courteously.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with the Front Gate POS system.
• Report to Box Office Management and maintain area organization.
• Provide accurate information about the event and evacuation procedures.
