Job summary

Insomniac, producer of major dance events in Las Vegas, is seeking a Box Office Attendant for ticketing at the box office and ticket resolution areas. You will provide a high level of customer service and ensure accurate ticket distribution for events.

Applicants should have sales or customer service experience, be comfortable with computers, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel to events during holidays and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer.
• Interact professionally with all levels in a courteous manner.
• Ability to de-escalate situations before they become unpleasant.
• Background investigation and post-offer pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Valid driver’s license maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in training for the Front Gate box office system to assist patrons with ticket orders.
• Identify a customer’s will call order by verifying name, email and credit card to distribute tickets correctly.
• Resolve any scanning issues with a patron’s ticket at the gate promptly and politely.
• Accurately process cash and credit card transactions with Front Gate POS system.
• Contact supervisor for unanswered questions.
• Maintain a professional, upbeat attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Keep the box office area clean and organized.
• Understand festival information and provide accurate event details to attendees.
• Take initiative when answering attendee questions.
• Treat all attendees with respect and sincerity.
• Understand evacuation procedures and safe refuge locations before shows.
• Report to Box Office Management.
