Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric therapy in the home or daytime facilities. Services for patients aged 0–21 are delivered 2+ times per week under physician orders.

The role requires Texas licensure and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with CCC-SLP credentials preferred. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, and home health experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
• Licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
• CCC-SLP credential completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0–21, 2+ visits per week as ordered by physician.
• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, feeding, and related disorders using appropriate tests.
• Prepare diagnostic reports and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan goals and interventions.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients through training and materials to support a total speech therapy program.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or SLPA if you have 3+ years of experience.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP
• License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
• Experience in pediatrics required
• Home health experience preferred
• Feeding Experience a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Define patients' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
• In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
• Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
• May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
