Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home therapy and clinical interventions for pediatric patients. The role includes planning and delivering skilled speech therapy services per physician orders and coordinating with supervising SLP on a weekly basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas state license.
• Experience in pediatrics required.
• Clinical/Practicum hours completed.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Feeding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by educational opportunities, reading publications, maintaining networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by ownership of new requests and adding value to job accomplishments.
