Job summary

Qualys is seeking a Technical Account Manager to actively drive post-sales engagement with US Federal customers. You will articulate technical positioning to both technical and executive stakeholders, identify issues across accounts, and maintain strong technical relationships with key contacts.

The role supports candidates in central, mountain, and pacific time zones, with responsibilities spanning product feedback, security best practices, and executive communication.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in the technical security space: security assessment, configuration auditing, network security, indicators of compromise, DAST, endpoint security, IaaS security and other enterprise security solutions.
• Knowledge of Federal Compliance issues like FedRAMP, STIGs, FIPs is a plus.
• Must communicate professionally in emails, RFIs, RFPs and synthesize technical concepts for leadership.
• Comfortable engaging with all levels from C-level to frontline technical staff.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide product and technical support for assigned accounts.
• Identify and develop potential new business opportunities within federal accounts.
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams.
• Provide functional and technical support to customers.
• Respond to customer questions on technical best practices and business issues.
• Deliver high-level and detailed technical sales presentations.
• Attend conferences, seminars, and similar events.
