Job summary

Qualys is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to drive post-sales success for US Federal customers. The TAM will articulate the company’s tech and product positioning to technical and leadership audiences, and establish technical relationships with key contacts at assigned accounts.

The role supports candidates across US time zones and requires 5-7 years of relevant experience, strong security knowledge, and the ability to interact with all organizational levels.

Qualifications

• Security space expertise including security assessment, configuration auditing, and endpoint security.
• Knowledge of Federal Compliance issues such as FedRAMP, STIGs, and FIPS.
• Strong presentation and be able to respond professionally to emails, RFIs and RFPs.
• Ability to communicate with all levels from C-level to front-line staff.
• Organized and analytical, able to overcome technical obstacles with creative approaches.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the sales territory.
• Security experience in the Federal space, including system integrators is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide product and technical support for assigned accounts
• Identify and develop potential new business opportunities
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teams
• Provide functional and technical support to customers
• Respond to customer questions on technical best practices and business-related issues
• Deliver high-level and detailed technical sales presentations
• Attend conferences, seminars, etc.
