Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Engineering - Federal DoW to lead and grow a federal sales engineering team. This remote role reports to the Federal Sales Engineering Director and focuses on directing resources across the full sales cycle, while coaching and elevating technical capabilities for Federal agencies.

You will drive strategic account planning, build strong customer relationships, and deliver high-impact technical leadership, with a strong emphasis on coaching and team

Qualifications

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows.
• Experience selling to and working with Federal Agencies.
• Residence within 2–3 hours of the Washington, D.C. metro area.
• Demonstrated experience managing a high-performing team of engineers.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Drive increased execution on building technical champions across our customer base.
• Lead the recruiting, training, and ongoing development of top engineering talent on the team.
• Manage up to 8 individual contributors while driving technical wins across the federal customer base.
