Job summary

LAC Federal in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Material Handling Laborer to support a federal records program, storing, retrieving, and moving records and containers with precision.

You will perform a range of warehouse and records-handling duties, locate and shelve containers, verify locations, and assist in disposition while protecting sensitive government information. The role includes physical tasks and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and records procedures.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive government records.
• Demonstrate basic English reading, writing, and numerical accuracy for labels and reports.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding warehouse tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Locate, retrieve, remove, transport, and reshelve Federal records containers per work instructions.
• Safely move records boxes with carts, pallets, and other equipment; shrink-wrap pallets.
• Receive and shelve incoming transfers; verify locations against put-away reports.
• Prepare records for disposition; palletize, stage, and transport to review areas.
• Maintain container sequences and verify labels, transfer numbers, and shelf locations.
• Retrieve requested files and return or reshelve accurately after processing.
• Identify and report missing containers, discrepancies, or damaged containers to leadership.
• Complete required logs, pull lists, and related documentation with accuracy.
• Perform general warehouse tasks while protecting records from loss or damage.
• Adhere to safety policies and protect PII/CUI and other protected information.
