Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to successfully complete the background investigation/suitability process to access a NARA facility.
• Able to report to Suitland, Maryland, for on-site shifts.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions, records-control procedures, safety requirements, and work assignments.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive Government records.

Responsibilities

• Locate, retrieve, and reshelve Federal records containers per instructions and pull lists.
• Safely move record boxes with government equipment and transport containers as applicable.
• Receive, verify, and shelve incoming records transfers and locations.
• Prepare records for disposition by pulling, transporting, staging, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping.
• Maintain container sequences and verify labels, transfer numbers, and shelf locations for accountability.
• Retrieve requested folders or boxes and return or reshelve after processing.
• Identify and report missing containers, charged-out records, discrepancies, or damaged containers to lead or federal personnel.
• Complete logs, pull lists, and Records Put Away Reports accurately and legibly.
• Perform palletizing, staging, shrink-wrapping, shelving, relocation, and general warehouse duties to protect records.
• Meet production and quality standards and maintain accuracy per agency guidelines.
• Protect sensitive Federal records including PII and CUI according to policy.
• Follow all safety, security, records-handling, confidentiality, and conduct policies.
