National Archives and Records Administration in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Material Handling Laborer to support a federal records program. Candidates must be 18+, pass a background check, and be able to work on-site in Fort Worth.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Be able to pass the background investigation/suitability process for access to a NARA facility.
• Able to report to Fort Worth, Texas, for on-site shifts.
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions and records-control procedures.
• Demonstrate sufficient English reading and basic writing and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Locate, retrieve, transport, and reshelve Federal records containers according to work instructions.
• Safely move and transport boxes using material-handling equipment.
• Receive and shelve incoming records transfers and verify locations.
• Prepare records for disposition and securely shrink-wrap pallets.
• Maintain container sequence, verify labels and transfer numbers for accountability.
