Library Systems & Services LLC in Perris, California, is seeking a Material Handling Laborer to support a federal records program. You will handle records and containers, move and shelve materials, and ensure accuracy and confidentiality, following strict procedures and safety requirements.

The role requires lifting 30–50 lb boxes, on-site reporting, and strict adherence to records-control guidelines while maintaining high production standards.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand written and spoken instructions.
• Demonstrate basic English reading, writing and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Locate, retrieve, remove, transport, and reshelve Federal records containers.
• Safely move boxes and containers using handling equipment.
• Receive and shelve incoming records transfers and verify locations.
• Prepare records for disposition and securely shrink-wrap pallets.
• Maintain correct container sequences and accurate labels and transfer numbers.
• Retrieve requested folders and return or reshelve records after processing.
• Identify and report missing containers or discrepancies to supervisory staff.
• Complete logs and records-put-away reports accurately during shelving.
• Perform palletizing, staging, and general warehouse duties protecting records.
