Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Federal Project Manager to drive deployment of mission-critical IT/mobile communications solutions for DoD initiatives. The role supports flexible remote work within the United States with substantial domestic travel (50%+).

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensure on-time delivery within budgets, and maintain rigorous documentation and stakeholder communications. A DHS Public Trust readiness is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience in LMR, Engineering, Project Management, Technical Services, Government, Military or Public Safety.
• Experience administering and delivering government/public sector contracts.
• Strong project management discipline including risk mitigation and financial oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversees deployment and implementation of Motorola Solutions products and services.
• Leads cross-functional teams to launch new solutions or upgrade existing systems.
• Manages full project lifecycle from initiation to completion with defined timelines and budgets.
• Drafts and executes project plans including design reviews, scheduling, configuration, installation, training and testing.
• Monitors subcontractor performance and ensures compliance with specifications.
• Tracks financials, budgets, and revenue targets; manages inventory and procurement as needed.
• Prepares technical proposals, change orders, and bids for system integration.
• Communicates progress in reviews and status meetings with stakeholders.
• Produces documentation for internal and external reviews and updates.
