Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Federal Project Manager within the Federal Division to support Department of Defense initiatives. You will oversee deployment of IT and comms systems, lead cross-functional teams, and manage the full project lifecycle from inception through delivery. Role requires 50%+ travel within the continental U.S., with remote work options nationwide.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens eligible for security clearance and possess strong stakeholder communication and budgeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR 5+ years in LMR, Engineering, Project Management, Technical Services, Government, Military or Public Safety.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; security clearance may be required.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees deployment and implementation of Motorola Solutions products and services.
• Leads cross-functional teams to launch new solutions or upgrade existing systems.
• Directs full project lifecycle from initiation to completion with metrics oversight.
• Ensures on-time, within-budget delivery and quality standards.
• Develops plans including design reviews, timelines, configuration, installation, training, and testing.
