Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. You will assist with subcontract processing, documentation, invoicing, and cost tracking for HVAC and BAS projects.

The role works with a Federal team to deliver on-time services, maintain project records, and support procurement and safety programs. Prior federal contracting experience is a plus, with strong MS Office and Excel skills required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting project related teams in the construction or building maintenance industry.
• Proficient computer skills with general Windows environment, Microsoft Office software, and email.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Supports subcontract processing, manages project documentation, and assists with cost tracking and invoicing.
• Coordinates with Project Manager and Engineering Management to ensure delivery and financial commitments.
• Completes administrative tasks for project or sales, and supports changes to maintenance and service contracts.
• Assists with subcontract processes, prepares subcontract documents, and manages waivers and insurance documentation.
• Gathers submittal documents, project books, closeout checklists, and training materials for customers and technicians.
