Job summary

SailPoint is a leader in Identity Security, serving a broad enterprise base in the U.S. The Federal Account Executive will drive new opportunities with the DoD sector, leading a cross‑functional team of partners and presales to win deals and ensure customer success.

You will articulate SailPoint’s value against competitors and manage the full sales cycle, including RFPs and negotiations. Travel about 50% and collaborate with marketing and channel teams to expand footprint.

Qualifications

• Strong communicator in first engagements and discovery calls.
• Ability to lead a virtual team across multiple functions.
• Develop territory and opportunity plans to move from discovery to close.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis.
• Address customer and partner inquiries with tailored solutions.
• Develop business plans aligned to your territory.
• Collaborate with marketing to execute plans through partners and end users.
• Pursue leads and keep internal systems updated.
• Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint's advantages.
• Own and manage the full sales cycle from qualification to closing.
