Job summary

SailPoint in Maryland is seeking an Account Executive to sell Identity Security solutions to the DOW in the Federal Government. You will lead a virtual team and own the full sales cycle, from discovery to closing, with a focus on delivering customer value.

The role requires strong communication, strategic planning, and collaboration with partners. Travel ~50% yearly and a Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication in first engagements and discovery calls.
• Ability to present SailPoint value against competitors such as Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt.
• Experience leading virtual cross-functional sales teams including presales, partner managers and customer success.
• Ability to create territory and opportunity plans outlining steps from discovery to next sales steps.

Responsibilities

• Exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
• Address customer and partner inquiries with tailored solutions.
• Develop territory-aligned business plans.
• Collaborate with marketing to drive plans with partners and end users.
• Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint advantages.
• Own all sales-cycle activities from qualification to closing.
