Job summary

SailPoint is seeking an Account Executive to sell Identity Security solutions to the DOW in the Federal Government. The role requires a skilled communicator, strategic account planning, and the ability to lead a virtual team of partner resources, presales, and services to drive wins.

You will align SailPoint solutions with customer needs, manage the full sales cycle, and engage with leadership to continuously refine sales strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required in IT, business or sales fields.
• Travel approximately 50 percent yearly for this position.
• Experience selling identity security or security solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Exceed quarterly and yearly revenue quotas.
• Lead and coordinate virtual team of partners, presales, and services to win deals.
• Own and manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close.
• Develop territory and opportunity plans with clear steps to move opportunities.
• Forecast accurately and maintain Salesforce hygiene to reflect pipeline health.
