Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Federal Field Solutions Engineer based in the Western US to partner with territory account executives, design deployments, and expand Verkada’s footprint into Fortune 500 accounts, interfacing with customers throughout the sales cycle.

You will lead technically across the Verkada product suite, overcome objections, and evangelize to executives and IT staff. Frequent travel (often >50%) is required to support business operations.

Qualifications

• Fortune 500 experience and strong client-facing record.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or security field.
• Solid Networking fundamentals (HTTPS, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, DHCP, Firewalls).
• Industry certifications listed above are a plus.
• Experience with Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, APIs and Python a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter authority on Verkada products during the sales cycle.
• Overcome objections and secure the technical win for Verkada.
• Present solutions to executives, IT, and loss-prevention teams; act as evangelist.
• Regular travel, often >50%, to support customers and partners.
