Job summary

Verkada is seeking the first Enterprise Field Solutions Engineer in Austria with expert experience in Cloud Security, IoT Systems, Networking, Linux, and Access Control.

This role partners with field account executives to expand Verkada’s footprint into Fortune 500 companies, interfacing with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle, designing deployments, and addressing technical objections while supporting region reps remotely.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, with Fortune 500 clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or Networking.
• Strong networking fundamentals including HTTPS/SSL, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, DHCP, Firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter authority on Verkada products and articulate benefits to customers.
• Act as trusted advisor and overcome objections to secure the technical win.
• Help build the region and enable local partners.
• Present Verkada solutions to executives and IT leaders across customer organizations.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional leadership to develop territory strategy.
• Design Verkada solutions including Network security, product selection, and cloud security RFPs.
• Stay current on security and IoT trends and share thought leadership.
• Educate partners, customers, and staff on Verkada products via white papers and knowledge bases.
